MXyMAG.com started off as HIPHOPONE.BiZ in 2006. The purpose of HH1 was to take snapshots of today's HIP-HOP culture. The traffic for the website ended up initially higher than MXyMAG right now. However MXyMAG's traffic has gone up between 2 to 10% every month.
What is SEXy?
When it was known as HH1 the website had an eyecandy section initially named THESEXy. Due to branding conflicts it was renamed to MiSEXy. Wordplay on the words “I am sexy”. SEXy is the word which this brand is built on this is the website were SEXy Lives. We feature interviews that look into women who are in a position of being sex symbols and get their individual versions of what sexy means.
Eyecandy
In 2008 HIPHOPONE.BIZ traffic was at an all time high however 80% of that traffic came to see the girls of MiSEXy. As a business owner that understood the concept of brandability the name was soon changed to MXy Eyecandy.
Men's Magazine
Later the focus shifted from taking snapshots of HIP-HOP culture to getting more attractive women and their views of what SEXy means. With the eyecandy section outgrowing HIPHOPONE.BiZ the focus was shifted to developing a Men's magazine. HH1 will return when MXyMAG is better established as a brand.
Number's Game
MXyMAG10 was launched in October 2008 MXyMAG20 was launched in January after continues research and development the second version of the website was redesigned to better cater to our consumers. MXyMAG30 is being positioned to be launched early 2010 and will bring a complete overhaul to the website.
Creating Eden
Our vision for the website is that we want to provide a welcoming, educational and motivationale environment that allows for free thinkers and the intellectually curious to come together in a forum that is innovative, and full of rich content.
