M X y M A G | Looking in The eyes of Tresha J (part 1) (Part 2)

This week's Covergirl goes by the name of Tresha J she is part of Skorpion Entertainment Modelling. Tresha is another good addition to the Malix dynasty which features a collection of sexy women who don't need Photoshop to make a “good” picture. This is also the direction that we are pushing our photographers to go in when we start providing you with exclusive pictures for MXyGOLD this upcoming spring, Sexy in its rawest form.

Something strikes me when I read through Tresha's interview. She says that men compliment her on her thick eyebrows and her eyes; the first thing that I need to point out about that is that women with thick eyebrows can be really sexy, women with eyes like hers is even more sexier. Above all it’s one of the most important body parts on her, because the intricate interaction we as men do with women require that we look her in the face. When we do the first thing we notice is the eyes, then the nose and the lips follow around the same time.

Other highlights of this interview is in Growing Pains were she talks about fighting through tough times in order to get to her success. She also works out to keep her spirit up. That part is very important because sometimes the gym can fish out what you are made of, it can be a good teacher when it comes to helping you go through obstacles because when you are unable to do that last set, pushing through requires the same strength and will power that is needed to push through in life.

In her off time she is a photographer and she has also worked as an I.T Professional making her relatable to the geekiest of men. Tresha also has a humanitarian side to her with Pay it Forward, a campaign that combines her experience and her skills as a photographer to help aspiring models build their portfolios so they can reach their goals. Looking into her eyes and seeing her life unfold I can tell that Pay it Forward is one of the most rewarding parts of her life.

INTRODUCE
Hi Everyone, I'm Tresha J, nationality of Black and American Indian (Sioux) originally from Durham, NC. Very driven for success as a model, actress, and role model. All of my life I've always had a love for fashion. Whether it was sketching out ideas of unique designer gowns, looking in magazines for the latest trend that would set me apart from the crowd, or posing in front of every mirror I saw, it was obvious this was truly my niche. I started out my career as an IT Professional to later pursue a career in modeling. In my spare time, I work as a photographer helping others in the field fulfill their goals with taking amazing images of them to add to their portfolio. I'm truly a heart-felt person that takes the time to help, teach, and learn from others. A very remarkable individual with an amazing personality and talent you can't resist.

What are your goals in this industry?
I really like be well rounded in this industry modeling for Fashion, Glamour, Runway/Fashion Shows, Hair Shows, Swimwear, Lingerie, Editorial, TV, Reality TV, Film, Commercial, Character, Print, Advertising, Promotional Usage, Music Videos, Event Hosting, VIP Hosting, Mix tape Hosting, Paid Photo Shoots, Guest Appearances, and Image Usage and Charity events.

MOTIVATION
What's my motivation? The man above, GOD. He wakes me up every morning and he gives the strength, wisdom, love, and support I need to keep going. Everyone has bad days and I have had my fair share but that doesn't stop me from pursuing my dreams and goals. When I am down, I get right back up and go even harder. I am very driven to succeed.

Career
I feel extremely blessed to have the opportunity to model. As a child, I was more so a tom boy and felt that I was not a pretty enough to model. You know, it is rare to get the opportunity to do what you love. It is the best feeling ever and a lot of hard work. At some point later in my career, I would like to start my own clothing line for curvaceous women and a foundation for under-privileged children that seek a career in fashion and design.

Resume
I have been a runway model for some of the local designers in my hometown, promotional model for Cat Daddy Magazine, Fashion Model for J'adore Magazine (June 2009 Anniversary Edition), Model for Boxtorow Beauties/Swimsuit Calendar. Upcoming, you can find me in Tearsheet Magazine (Aug 2009 Edition), Music Video - Damn It I'm Fly by Bettie Grind, and Hustle Bunny USA 2010-11 Swimsuit/Lingerie Calendar.

SEXY
The word "Sexy" in my mind is someone that has a sex appeal that is undeniable. Not only in looks but in the way they carry themselves.  I have only felt sexy as an adult. Some guys that approach me comment on my thick eyebrows and exotic eyes. They find those to be very sexy attributes. I always strive to look sexy, dress sexy, and act like a lady in public.

GROWING PAINS

As a child, I entered beauty pageants and as a teen I would go to model calls in the area for a chance to be discovered. My parents were this close to spending money for me to go to Barbazon Modeling School. It was not until an adult did I really meet people that saw something in me and wanted to help me break into the industry. I've done lots of traveling doing photo shoots with different photographers for various purposes. Money on gas, lodging, keeping my hair styled, nails and toes polished, and clothes that I may have to use on a photo shoot. I've sacrificed a lot of time and money into building a successful career for myself. As a result, I have a nice portfolio, met wonderful people in the industry that support and help me, more exposure, as well as getting paid work.

Fear
My biggest fear is to not succeed in life. By nature, I am very competitive and driven. For me to fail was absolutely not in the equation. I pray a lot to GOD for wisdom as well as read self-help books which give me a broader perspective on life events. This really helped me. I understand now that just because you are not successful at one thing doesn't mean that you won't be at the next. It was just not meant for you. Move on and try again.

LIFE
Outside of modeling, I enjoy doing Nightlight life, Wedding, Family, and Fashion Photography as well as Web Design. I try to take time out to visit family and friends, workout, dance, read self-help books, travel, attend social events, watch movies (love action & romance), shop, and sometimes just sit and listen to music.

On the second page of this interview Tresha talks spirituality, and her love life. She talks about past love being one sided and waiting for mister right, could it be you?
