I like Nikki's biggest fear... or more specifically her gripe with photographers. Been there done that, still go through it and though I've been drawing pictures my whole life it hasn’t frustrated me enough to want to pick it up and be that for my magazine. I do know that one day I’ll start doing it as a need to express myself as an artist.

As you can imagine as the chief editor of MXyMAG.com I come across tons of pictures and with the models we may go through several pictures before we find three that fit the story we are trying to tell. In some cases we have featured models and then taken them off later but that's because over time our standards in presentation started going higher. Right now our biggest dilemma is how we are going to handle what’s up now when we do our transition to a level that consistently sets precedent?

In order to take the magazine to another level, we have been looking for a photographer that isn’t just like a paparazzi shooting pictures of tits and ass. We have been looking for someone who paints a story featuring a beautiful woman. Throughout summer we have gone through several photographers and finally settled on one. I believe that our photographer has what it takes to take us to a multimillion dollar business entity. Why? Because she doesn't take 1000 pics and hope that 3 or 6 are good. Another reason? Because she doesn't use Photoshop and that gives you a better direction of where the visual aspect of MXyMAG.com is going.

Since our existence we have had a fall out with countless photographers some directly and some indirectly and in this business the hardest thing is exactly that, photographers. If you can find the right people to work with then work with them but good people that you connect on an artistic level are hard to find. Why? There are several reasons and I chalk it up in to both our egos and interpretation of things. I do understand that photographers are the most important component to this business. Why? Because in this business image is everything. Image feeds in to the value of your name and that is why I refer to them as gatekeepers.

If you associate your name with the wrong images you may lose support. Unless your Tiger Woods, in his case his image transcends itself. It's at that point that if your name gets that negativity attached to it that people will still support you.

Hate it or love it but we are all role models from the moment we decide to be in a position were we ask people for money in order for us to make a living. It's also one of the things I look at when looking for models to be associated with the MXyMAG.com brand, role models. I have removed women over time because I looked in to their product and they weren't being a role model and it's not to say that I'm looking for angels neither, just good people with tight death before dishonor laws who can talk about what sexy means to them.

I hope that in time Nikki Starr will continue to be that to her friends, peers and or her fans, because that's how you win the war with haters by ignoring them and continuously being a good role model. If you do a good job then you become untouchable no matter what they try to throw at you. Take it EZ

What is your name? Where are you from? What are you currently doing that is relevant to the general public? My Name is Nateisha Tatham aka Nikki Starr I’m from Richmond Hill, Ontario. I am a student/ model on the long road to success.

Define what it means to you.  Sexy to me would defiantly be my personality appearance and confidence.

When you realized you were sexy? I realized I was sexy at the age of 15 when guys started noticing me and actually wanting to get to know me. I was very shy back then but as I got older I realized how that being shy and closed minded would be my downfall.

Once you realized your weakness did you switch up right away or was a process? It was definitely a process for me, but once I started modeling, meeting new people, and interacting more, my shyness went away and now I’m very confident in myself, spontaneous, and outgoing.

Explain to the fans why you should be number one on THE SWEET 16 Countdown. I know I should be number one on the SWEET16 Countdown because I’m different and unique in my own way. I’m a leader, not a follower and that is very important. I’ve been modeling for about 9 months now and I think I’ve done a hell of a good job! The number one girl on the SWEET16 Countdown needs to be a role model, not just the girl that took the hottest picture of the bunch and I definitely fit that.

What’s a role model? What makes you a role model? A role model to me is someone who people look up to, a good influence and touches people of all kinds. I know that I’m a role model because. I've influenced a lot of girls to start modeling and even brought a couple of my close friends to my shoots and introduced them to photographers. A role model is well educated I am still in school with a great GPA. Most of all you have to treat yourself with the respect; people will treat you how you treat yourself. I feel that ALL women should be like this.
