MXyMAG |Beyond the Physical of Maliah Michel (part 1) (part 2)

Sex is not just the physical, the physical is a by product of the energy sex needs in order for the physical connection to be elevated. Energy is made from the soul and therefore is created from within and transcends the flesh of the body in to a fire that can light up the other. That energy can be sparked up through conversation and the evolution of a simple conversation sparks up into a physical version. If it's hard to communicate with a woman then it is going to be hard to have that real soulful sex. This is why someone once told me that a good conversation can be better than having sex, and it is true.

That law is one of the biggest foundations to how I select women to feed the bottomless pit that's known as my ego. It's also a method I use to select the women for the sexiest interviews on MXyMAG.com. For me the sexiest women are the ones that have been able to communicate who they are through the paper’s lines. Words form to pictures which in turn add strength to the actual pictures. This is why I once referred to the interviews as the liquid form of an eyecandy picture. On MXyMAG.com It's like the Ying and the Yang, one cannot co exist without the other and that seems to work because the sexiest interviews tend to be the ones that stay on The Sweet 16 Countdown longer.

Today's conversation features Maliah Michel. The same Maliah who just shut down Smooth Magazine's cover, she opens up about going through struggle and finding solution, we talk about the modelling game, Dwyane Darden and the Summerbunnies brand and her Smooth magazine shoot. Enjoy!

Hey what's up Maliah, it's been a while how have you been? I've been very good thank you.

I remember we had your pictures we were ready to do an interview and publish you on MXyMAG and then you got busy. Yes, I'm sorry about that. I think you caught me when I was in transition from LA to Houston. I moved to be closer to my management. I've gotten so much done since last October when I first met with Dwyane Darden of SummerBunnies.com. I'm co-managed by Five Star Entertainment as well, and I'm in very capable hands. Things were a little crazy for me for awhile, but after the darkness comes the dawn as they say. I'm all settled in now, and I'm not looking back.

Do you have any advice for anyone reading this right now? I mean how do you get through your problems? I know we all go through things, and I'd just tell anybody who's reading this to stay grounded, stay spiritual, and always go forward instead of backwards. Nothing is permanent in this life, good or bad. Make the most of the good, and know that the bad passes in time. No matter what though, don't ever give up.

Since then you went on to do smooth magazine... Shooting with Smooth is always a great experience. They originally wanted me to shoot for the Jamaica issue, but because I was being given the "No She Didn't" column, it was decided that I would shoot in New York instead. I wanted to go to Jamaica, but this works out much bigger. Great shoot as always, I was the only girl on set for almost 10 hours.

How has reception been since? I am always going to hear the good things, so it's hard for me to answer that question without bias. From my opinion, it was a very hot shoot, and I know the viewers are going to love what's coming up in the next issue and the next....

I was just reading that you don't bring the clout the other models brought to "No she didn't" hearing that being said. Do you feel a certain amount of pressure taking on the column? I don't feel pressure at all. I think you're saying you may have heard that I don't have the same recognition that past models have had, and that's true. The connection is there, and I've heard that there were countless letters and calls asking for me from as far back as almost two years ago, so now I'm back. Time will tell, and I'm sure that Smooth made the right choice in selecting me.

It's the dawn but the darkness comes to everyone and anyone, right? If you had to walk through that again what would you do different. It's all about choices that we make, and I know that I just have to surround myself with the right people. I literally found myself all by myself, and that can be a dangerous place, especially for a female.

I was just discussing the same thing with a friend of mines the other night. There are so many girls that want to be in the spotlight and so many wolves out there. How do you go about choosing your work carefully? Everything is now put in front of the people who work with me. They'll always tell me what projects are about, and we feel them out together.

It's nice to know that Maliah's management team approves of MXyMAG. Up next We talk about the industry and the critisism it brings. We talk about how social media networks changed the game and summberbunnies. Click here to continue
