I will have to admit there was a long negotiation process on when to post Krystal's interview.

She wants to wait until summer because then she will have better time to advertise it (+ newer pictures available). I'm saying that whenever she has those she can come back and promote those pictures with another interview.

Our clauses say we will try to accommodate your dates as much as possible with the keyword being "try" and though I have accommodated models in the past today is not one of these days where it's hard. "That's because the recession has hit us too?" Lol. Ok, that's not a good excuse.

The real reason is because of many transitions going on with MXySTAFF. Our focus has been more on getting organized so we can be more consistent in the future but we still have to show you something new now and that leads to me having to make hard business decisions.

This is Malayika's second interview with MXyMAG and it's a fun one. Short, fast paced, fun and Pink with a bright blond. The model goes by the name of Krystal Starr and I have to say I enjoy seeing her here. It also goes to show Malayika's vision to what she brings to the table and that's newness. I describe this as drinking water after a long game of basketball, refreshing, energizing and these pink pictures do a good job of reflecting that.

Krystal's cover picture is poetic and deep. It tells a good story all in one shot which is exactly what I look to push on the site. A story that can be read through the interviews and viewed through the pictures we put up. So without any further ado here is STARR and Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

SEXY BODY PART: My lips ;P

NUMBER 1: My number one is God!

MOTIVATION: My motivation is my family and friends. Everytime Im having one of those days….You know when everything seems to be going wrong…I know that I have people there to help pick me back up!

HATE: I don’t really have something I absolutely hate…..but I don’t have a love/hate relationship with my many haters out there who I also consider to be my biggest FANS lol.

Fashion Sense and style: I love how Rihanna dresses the girl is Fierce. She likes to wow them with her outrageous sense of style and I love it. Some of the various outfits she has worn have made it to the bottom of everyone’s list but those ones are usually my favorites….

Favorite stylist: As for fashion designers that changes each season but for now I’m really feeling Zac Posen he always comes with those designs that look out of this world. I go for all the outfits that people usually walk by in stores. You know the ones that look like CRAP on the mannequin LOL…..but Zac Posen is really my number one. I love Donna Karen and Michael Kors as well.

Views on the industry at the moment: I enjoy every aspect of the modeling industry and I’m so excited to see what can be done in the urban modeling industry especially. I believe models are not appreciated as much as they should be and I can’t wait to make my big splash on the map LOL.

CHANGE: I wouldn’t change anything at all because nothing can ever be perfect so if I changed something it would then just affect the outcome of something else and so on and so on….

Personal style: My personal style is nothing particular there are no agendas, no codes, nothing like that, I just go on what I feel. If I feel like wearing it I’m going to wear it, that’s just me!

What item can’t you live without: Um my cell phone pretty much I keep in contact with everyone through that thing. All my contacts, important dates and so much more is kept in it.

GROWING PAINS: I’m not going to front like I grew up living a hard life because I didn’t. I remember being very happy growing up and my mom worked very hard to give us all of our needs and wants and I am extremely appreciative of that and that’s why she is the BEST!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years: In 5 years I will still be modeling of course if all goes as planned. I will also have completed my University degree and start becoming that successful business woman I plan on becoming LOL

PROMOTE: Be yourself…Some people never figure themselves out and that’s just sad. I learn more about myself everyday and I’m not scared to just be me!

Spirituality: I believe in God….thats it!
